Our local tackle and bait shops help support our local fisheries in many ways. Many sponsor local fishing tournaments and programs. Many are meeting spots for local fishermen to swap stories (i.e. lies) and info. Some serve as an official weigh station and then still some just help to support our local economies. Whatever or however your local tackle shop contribute to your local fisheries, we as fishermen should do everything we can to help support them as well. So shop there, tell your friends to shop there. Stop using big brand stores and look at your local shop!
